چکیده
Abstract Fast (sub-second) spectroscopy with high spectral resolution is of vital importance for revealing quantum chemistry kinetics complex chemical and biological reactions. Fourier transform (FT) spectrometers can achieve operate at hundreds ms time scales in rapid-scan mode. However, the linear translation a scanning mirror imposes stringent time-resolution limitations to these systems, which makes simultaneous temporal very difficult. Here, we demonstrate an FT spectrometer whose operational principle based on continuous rotational motion mirror, effectively decoupling from one. Furthermore, show that such perform Mid-IR dual-comb single comb source, since Doppler-shifted version serves as second comb. In our realization, combine advantages using cascade laser frequency emitting 8.2 μm light source. Our technique does not require any diffractive or dispersive optical elements hence preserve Jacquinot’s-, Fellgett’s-, Connes’-advantages spectrometers. By integrating mulitple broadband sources, system could pave way applications where speed, large bandwidth, are desired.

متن کاملCompressive Fourier Transform Spectroscopy
We describe an approach based on compressive-sampling which allows for a considerable reduction in the acquisition time in Fourier-transform spectroscopy. In this approach, an N-point Fourier spectrum is resolved from much less than N time-domain measurements using a compressive-sensing reconstruction algorithm. We demonstrate the technique by resolving sparse vibrational spectra using <25% of ...

T he difficulties that always plague an experimental spectroscopist are those associated with resolving power, light-gathering ability, and wavelength and photometric accuracy. He sees a spectrum, such as that of atmospheric water vapor shown in Fig. 1, and deduces from it information about the atoms or molecules which gave rise to it. Such spectrograms can be taken at wavelengths from the far ...

We present a first implementation of optical-frequency-comb-based rapid trace gas detection in the molecular fingerprint region in the mid-infrared. Near-real-time acquisition of broadband absorption spectra with 0.0056 cm(-1) maximum resolution is demonstrated using a frequency comb Fourier transform spectrometer which operates in the 2100-to-3700-cm(-1) spectral region. We achieve part-per-bi...

Molecular fingerprinting using absorption spectroscopy is a powerful analytical method, particularly in the infrared, the region of intense spectral signatures. Fourier transform spectroscopy—the widely used and essential tool for broadband spectroscopy—enables the recording of multi-octavespanning spectra, exhibiting 100 MHz resolution with an accuracy of 13 10 and 13 10 in wavenumber and inte...
